| The Subway Portraits are an on going series of acrylic paintings on paper based on small sketches done in the New York subways. To date I have done approximately 1500 sketches. Some of the paintings are then mounted on canvas in groups. The Subway Paintings have been shown at National Arts Club in New York, in a multimedia theatrical collaboration with Susan Charlotte. Performers included: Kathleen Turner, Ally Sheedy, Judith Light, John Shea, Earle Hyman, and Treat Williams. All paintings © Ken Krug. All Rights Reserved. |
