My work ranges from illustration to graphic design to surface design to fine art. I love experimenting with different kinds of media and I create my artwork in gouache, watercolor, acrylic and oil paint as well as in a number of electronically generated styles. As an illustrator and designer I focus on the needs of my clients, as a fine artist I pursue intensely personal projects. The thing that unites all my work is a love of visual communication and creative visual problem solving.

I attended The School of Visual Arts, The University of California at Santa Barbara, and I have a BFA from The San Francisco Art Institute.

My illustration and design clients include: Time Warner, Random House, McGraw-Hill, King Features Syndicate, Springs Industries, Inc., Domestications and Glitterwrap.

My work has been exhibited at numerous galleries including: The Walt Meade Gallery, Roxbury, NY (solo exhibition); The Mission Cafe, New York, NY (solo exhibition); The DeFacto Gallery, New York, NY (two person exhibition); The Erpf Gallery, Arkville, NY; The Society of Illustrators, New York, NY; and The Society of Illustrators, Los Angeles, CA.

My Flower Paintings were featured on set of the film “You Can Count on Me” starring Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo.

My Subway Portraits were seen at The National Arts Club as part of a theatrical multimedia collaboration with text by Susan Charlotte. Performers included Ally Sheedy, Kathleen Turner, Judith Light, John Shea, Bob Dishy, Earle Hyman and Treat Williams.

I served on the board of directors of the New York Graphic Artists Guild for four years.

I had a weekly five-minute art review program on radio station WBAI in New York City for three years.
